This weekend, I had the pleasure of indulging in one of my favourite pastimes: hunting for vintage items. Brighton, with its eclectic mix of residents and vibrant history, is a treasure trove for enthusiasts like myself. My adventure took me to two distinct car boot sales: the Brighton Marina Car Boot and the Brighton Racecourse Car Boot Sale. Each offered a unique experience and a variety of finds.
Brighton Marina Car Boot: A Professional Affair
My first stop was the Brighton Marina Car Boot. Known for its picturesque setting by the sea, the Marina is a hub of activity, attracting both locals and tourists. The car boot sale here is renowned for its professional dealers, and this visit did not disappoint.

Situated on the expansive grounds of the racecourse, this car boot sale was a delightful mix of families looking to clear out their attics and casual sellers with interesting odds and ends.

Another stall had an assortment of vintage kitchenware, evoking a sense of nostalgia for simpler times. Prices here were much more affordable, making it a perfect spot for bargain hunters. I left with a bag full of treasures, including Vinyl records, a BIBA Handbag, Vintage Adidas and vintage Fred Perry, all without breaking the bank.
