A Treasure-Hunting Morning at Sunbury Antiques Market – Our Latest Trip!

There's nothing quite like the thrill of the hunt – especially when it comes to antiques. Last week, we (Jamie & Helen) kicked off our day very early with a 4:00 AM start to head to the famous Sunbury Antiques Market at Kempton Park Racecourse.

By 6:30 AM, we were through the gates (£5 each for early bird entry) and ready to explore. The sun was just rising, the weather was spot on, and the excitement in the air was contagious – especially for Helen, as it was her first time visiting Sunbury! She was buzzing with anticipation and didn’t stop smiling from stall to stall.

Sunbury is a goldmine for vintage and antique lovers, and this trip didn’t disappoint. With hundreds of fantastic stalls, the variety was incredible – everything from Mid-Century Modern pieces to classic Victorian treasures. While vinyl records were a little scarce this time, we still came away with some brilliant finds, including a stunning Georg Jensen coffee table that we absolutely couldn’t resist.

The real charm of Sunbury lies in the atmosphere – great sellers, friendly chats, and the buzz of people discovering their next unique piece. It’s a real community, and that’s what keeps us coming back.

All our favourite finds are now being prepped for display at our Antiques at No8  Warehouse in Ringwood (BH24 1NW) – so if you’re looking for something special, pop in and see what we’ve brought back!

Sunbury is always worth the early alarm, and this trip proved once again why it’s a must-visit for collectors, designers, and curious treasure hunters alike.
