Treasure Hunting at Ford Car Boot – A Perfect Day for Fish4Junk & Antiques at 61
Share
It was an early start for the Fish4Junk and Antiques at 61 team as we headed out to one of our favourite treasure-hunting spots — the famous Ford Car Boot and flea market near Arundel in beautiful Sussex.
Arriving just as the sellers were setting up, the excitement was already building. Early mornings are always worth it at markets like this. With stalls full of hidden gems, vintage curiosities, and beautiful pieces of artwork waiting to be discovered, you never quite know what treasures the day will bring.
As the sun came up, it turned into one of those perfect market days — blue skies, warm sunshine, and that wonderful buzz that only a great flea market can create. Armed with coffee and plenty of enthusiasm, we spent the morning exploring rows of stalls, chatting with sellers, and carefully selecting pieces that truly stood out.
We were thrilled to uncover some amazing artwork along with a fantastic mix of vintage and antique items. From characterful decorative pieces to timeless collectables, every find had its own story and charm. These are exactly the kinds of treasures we love bringing back to Fish4Junk and Antiques at 61.
One of the best parts of days like this is imagining where each piece might end up — a beautiful addition to someone’s home, a unique talking point on a shelf, or a special item that sparks memories and conversation.
After hours of browsing, negotiating, and carefully packing up our finds, the day wrapped up perfectly with more coffee, sunshine, and that satisfying feeling that comes after a successful treasure hunt.
We’re excited to say that all the wonderful pieces we discovered will be heading to the shop and appearing on our website very soon. Keep an eye out for new arrivals — you never know what vintage gem might catch your eye.
Days like this are exactly why we love what we do.
Stay tuned for the latest additions from Fish4Junk and Antiques at 61!
