Bjorn Wiinblad four transfer printed ceramic spoon rests depicting stories from Hans Christian Andersen. For Nymølle, Denmark c1960s. Marked to the base with a W and the Nymølle mark and a model number.
These could also be used for placing used tea bags on as well as spoons.
Excellent condition apart from FALL has a chip ( see pics)
Bjorn Wiinblad (1918-2006) was a leading Danish painter and designer who worked in many materials but is best knows for his ceramic designs. Fairytale and fantasy scenes often figure prominently in his work. He worked with both Nymølle in Denmark and Rosenthal in Germany.
